I first met Sue by chance in Midhurst when Sue was on an open top bus and I, with my two sons, were waiting for a preserved bus to take us back to my car having walked the railway trackbed from Chichester to Midhurst. The bus that Sue was on did not stop but she noticed me. To my surprise the following Friday evening when doing my shopping in a local mini supermarket, Sue was on the till and to my surprise, she asked my what I had been doing the previous Sunday evening in Midhurst. Well as the say, the rest is history.
I subsequently owned two preserved buses and Sue drove both of them - it was all such great fun.
